Surprise from Clarence

This year in fourth grade, Clarence has been doing a lot of reading and we've been enjoying reading his books too. He has also been doing a lot of haiku and poetry writing in class. At yesterday's Open House, we were quite impressed with one he recently did in class:

Discipline is not a pretty thing
But will come in handy later in life
So treat it like a wave
Don't fight it
Ride it.

May 9th Sacramento Field Trip

I accompanied Clarence on his fourth grade class field trip to Sacramento.
It was an interesting and fun outing.
